It doesn't cut following the movement to your finger, but this is a good thing. Where you touch first, and where you drag and release over the object will be how your cut will be. Cut pieces don't have to be exactly the same size, as some leeway is given. Some coordination still required. A quick "retry" is in the in-game menu for your convenience. You'll need it.
Multi touch is enabled. Choose where both points A and B that you want to cut. The cut will be a line from Point A and Point B. Both points must be out of the object. Sounds like math, it also sort of looks like math when the objects are on a grid or line paper. This helps you judge where you want to cut. But don't kid yourself because it doesn't stay easy for long, just long enough to get you interested.
