Slice It! : Brain Teaser, Give your Brain a Workout
Need an app that challenges you mentally? Well, here's one for you. Slice It! is an app that will test your brains. The directions are simple. Cut a shape in front of you into equal size of the required number of pieces using the required amount of cuts. It shows you the percentages of each piece and is smart enough to tell you what you did wrong. The music is nice, and the controls are sweeter. The animations are really well done and playful. It's Full of crayola colored or styled drawings. Although the graphics look like they are for kids, surely adults can appreciate the quality in an app. The application itself is an artwork.
It doesn't cut following the movement to your finger, but this is a good thing. Where you touch first, and where you drag and release over the object will be how your cut will be. Cut pieces don't have to be exactly the same size, as some leeway is given. Some coordination still required. A quick "retry" is in the in-game menu for your convenience. You'll need it.
Multi touch is enabled. Choose where both points A and B that you want to cut. The cut will be a line from Point A and Point B. Both points must be out of the object. Sounds like math, it also sort of looks like math when the objects are on a grid or line paper. This helps you judge where you want to cut. But don't kid yourself because it doesn't stay easy for long, just long enough to get you interested.
It gradually raises the difficulty on you just as you are getting confident and think that you are getting the hang of it. But how would you know if you don't download the app? With tons of positive reviews, an average star rating of 4.6/5 on Google Play and over 10 million downloads, it's easy to see why this app is a Top App. Slice it! was developed by Com2uS.
