Destiny Cave 2.0-Easy ways to level in Destiny

Destiny Cave 2.0
Bungie was quick to jump on the original Cave of levelling and update their game to stop easy levelling, farming and quick engram snatches. The players of Destiny are still one step ahead of Bungie and have found the CAVE 2.0 . Another quick and easy Destiny farming location.

Once again head to old Earth to find the Rocket Yard area where your new Destiny farming dstination lies. See the below screenshots for a view of Cave 2.0 and the area just preceding it.

Why you shouldn't buy a second hand iPod

Igaming is great until it all starts to go wrong. Unfortunately while an older iPhone or Ipod might seem like a an Ebay gaming bargain there are some inherent problems.

Most new apps are compatible with all devices. The entire list is virtually endless but a good indicator is by going on to the Appstore, there in the left hand margin you'll find
which devices the App is compatible with . Generally being an iPad gamer I find that apps that have been specifically designed for the iPhone or iPod just scale up to the larger
resolution (in the bottom right of the app a small button marked 2x scales the app up).

One of the concerns for many gamers who have older iDevices is that the OS is no longer
supported by many apps. New apps tend to be designed with the latest OS in mind, so for example my iPod Touch 3rd gen is severely limited in the new apps and games that can be
played on it. This rampant updating of the Apple OS quickly makes older Apple devices redundant for gaming purposes. Just try playing Infinity Blade 2 on even a cracked iPad 1 and you'll see what I mean.

Massive Update to Clash of Clans

Clash of Clans Spell Factory
Latest Clash of Clans Update ,now with Spell Factory!
Yet another update to the phenomenally popular Clash of Clans has arrived. The previous update brought some minor changes like Hidden Tesla Defences, this Clans update is absolutely huge with many new features. And good news for potential IPhone 5 and next gen Touch owners with built in support for your devices.
For regular and higher levelled Clanners we can now enjoy:
  • The Clash of Clans Spell Factory: spells include the Rage,Lightning and Healing Spell.
  • The New Battle Log is a brilliant feature. I can't wait for my village to be attacked now as I'll be able to replay the entire attack, find weaknesses in my defence and also perhaps learn some Alternative defence strategies rather than a giant or Archer rush strategy.
  • Higher level town halls allow you to add an extra wizard tower to bolster up your defences even more.
  • Visual improvements for upgraded troops. For example my level three archers now seem to be using fire arrows, and if you've upgraded a unit using the laboratory you'll now be able to see their rank as depicted by stars next to the unit.
  • iOS 6 supported with new Game Centre achievements.
  • And now for a disappointing new feature: You will now need a builder to build walls.Previously this was a builder free task, now even though the build is still instant you will have to free up one of your workers. A definite irritation factor as the higher up the levels you get the longer buildings take to construct. When you've got a lot of Gold lying about, it used to be the case that it could be spent on wall upgrades. Rather than leaving all that stored resource ready to be captured by a strong opponent.

A few other tweaks in housing , battle mechanics and other areas have also been added.
We can't wait to get that spell factory churning out some destruction and see a replayed battle in action.
Problems with Clash of Clans since the new update
Update: Since this mornings new features have been added I've found the game to be quite slow to load and the matchmaking seems slower than ever. A temporary solution for a non loading game is to just quit out and then stop the game from running altogether on your system. For example on an iPad, if Clash of Clans fails to load since the update then quit out of the game. Now double click the "Home" button and a list of recent and background running apps should come up in the tab. Long press any icon and they will all have a "minus" sign next to them. Just click that minus to stop all Clans activity and the next time you load it up it should proceed as normal. At the moment clearly there seem to be some server issues, perhaps as many people are logging on to download all the new and good stuff. For now persevere and we anticipate all problems clearing in a day or two.
Latest Info from Supercell to fix lag issues:
Supercell's official Facebook announcement as of 30 minutes ago:Maintenance break! It will fix lagging and connection issues, and we will be monitoring the situation. Thank you for your understanding and for your patience, we're working hard to get everybody back online!

Minecraft Pocket Edition :Guide to Crafting, smelting and harvesting.

Our Minecraft Pocket Edition Guide continues to be popular and since the recent update that brought crafting, smelting and harvesting to Minecraft PE we've decided to do some research and bring you some more hints and tips about how to use the new smelting , crafting abilities and more.  The Guide to  Minecraft Advanced Touch Technology Interface System (MATTIS) crafting system.

Minecraft Pocket Edition Updates you need to know about:

There are now furnaces-this guide will allow you to get to know how to use the Minecraft Furnaces better,
Also look out for
  • Trees now drop saplings.
  • You can now craft glass panes (or thin glass).
  • All resources can now be gathered(except redstone, try to mine redstone and it simply gets vapourised).
  • Full crafting of weapons and tools.
  • Look forward to crafting iron, gold ,lapis lazuli and diamond blocks.
  • You can place ores using the Creatives Menu
  • Also look out for Bows and drops from chickens, skeletons and spiders (feathers;arrows/bones and string respectively)
  • Now Bone meal can be crafted too (for use on Saplings in Mojangs Top Game)

What Can you craft in Minecraft PE?

Crafting - blocks

In the world of Minecraft, you can make most objects by crafting. Simply enter your inventory and then hit the 'craft' button in the top corner. If an object's name is written in white, it means you have the materials to make it.

Tap on the big ingredients list box on the right to craft the item, and instantly add it to your inventory.
Of course a crafting table is also necessary for some of the bigger and more elaborate objetcts. Some examples of forthcoming objects that Notch's game might reference but aren't available yet:cakes, mushroom stew, fish.

What is Smelting?

Here is where the new furnace update becomes important, just select the furnace to bring up the smelting menu this will allow new objects to be created by melting down other objects.
What Fuels should I use for Smelting?
Tap the top-most box, and then choose one of the highlighted materials from your inventory on the left of the screen. Then, tap the box below and pick one of your fuels. Some fuels are more effective than others - be creative with your use of fuels something like coal will burn for a long time, but sticks not so long.

You need to provide enough fuel so that the material completely melts (represented by the arrow that changes from grey to white) before your fuel is used up. You can put in a lot of fuel, and you can collect any leftovers when the smelting process is over.
